FAQ/Helpful Links

-What is the difference between astronomy and astrology?

Astronomy is the branch of physical science that deals with celestial objects, space, and the physical universe as a whole.

Astrology is essentially a sky mirror of astronomy and deals with how all this moves and interacts with the human psyche and behavior.

-When was astrology developed?

Astrology was developed at the same time as astronomy.

The Babylonians observed, recorded, and predicted the recurrence of the four seasons and other celestial events.

This information was given to the Greeks in the 4th century BC.

After being studied by ancient astrologers such as Plato and Aristotle the foundational texts attributed to Hermes Trismegistus, Asclepius, Nechepso and Petosiris were published around the 1st century BC and Greek (or Hellenistic) astrology was born.

Vedic astrology was first mentioned in The Vedas- a collection of ancient texts from India.

After many years of study by the best civilizations on Earth, astrology reached a point of great knowledge in the times of the Renaissance. Between the 11th and 17th centuries astrological text was in high demand and a keyword system began formation.

-Why did many people stop believing in astrology?

Many kings condemned the spiritual arts as they encouraged free thinking- and that’s no good for anybody who wishes to control the masses.

-How has astrology transformed in modern times?

Astrology experienced a revival in the late 20th century with the works of theosophist William Frederick Allen (commonly known as Alan Leo). His wisdom inspired many others such as Dane Rudhyar, Carl Jung, Michel Gauquelin and Dr. Percy Seymour to further develop astrological data. Today, several modern keyword systems exist and astrology has become more popular than ever before.

–Have the influences of astrology ever been proven?

Astrology is not a physical science and is not measured as such.

The validity of astrology rests in the fact that hundreds of thousands of people (and many well known psychoanalysts) find it to be accurate and useful for themselves and others.

-What is an astrological birth (or natal) chart?

An astrological birth chart is an individualized map of the universe that highlights pathways to higher levels of consciousness.

-Does astrology suggest that destiny is predetermined?

No, this is a common myth. Astrology has determined that planets and other celestial objects have influence on the individual and collective, but do not control free will.

There is a saying, “The future can always be changed, but Man rarely changes.”

This is why an unconscious person only reacts to the world and believes life happens to them. A conscious person creates their own reality and believes life happens because of them.

Astrology is a tool that can help a person transform their own energy from negative to positive and create what they wish from within themselves.

-What do you mean by “consciousness” and “higher consciousness”?

Consciousness is an awareness of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energy.

Higher consciousness is simply a higher state of awareness that allows for a higher level of communication between beings of light (such as angels, messengers, ascended masters, totem animals, collective guardians, etc).

-How can astrology can be used as a conscious tool for obtaining higher levels of awareness in this incarnation?

Astrology reveals deeply hidden truths of the past, present, and future; making times of massive individual and collective transformation easier to navigate through.

-Are there different areas of astrological study?

-How do the planets and other celestial objects affect our conscious awareness?

Everything is connected by a vibratory field. Like us, the planets and other celestial objects have their own unique and individual consciousness.

-Do aliens exist?

I think that in an infinite universe it is highly unlikely that Earth is the only planet with life. What do you think?
